DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a multi-purpose position responsible for order entry, customer service, & serving as a liaison between customers & ABI staff to ensure all customer needs are being met.
• Primary source of customer contact, interaction, and communication.
• Receive & process all customer orders in ERP system.
• Assure proper paperwork & documentation accompanies all orders (C/As, commercial invoices, NAFTA certificates, etc.) and that all customer requirements are met.
• Communicate with Sales, Production, and QC to handle any problems with meeting customer expectations & assist with creative problem solving.
• Handle all customer inquiries in regards to requests for PRO #'s, ship dates, PODs, packing slips, CofA
• Deal with all customer complaints, returns, and return authorizations.
• Keep abreast of pricing, trends, and all information on all customers, products, and customer shipping requirements.
• Provide packaging instructions whenever products are being produced & prioritization when necessary.
• Maintain updated information for all customers.
• Exercise independent decision making with regard to customer orders, ship dates and packaging.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
Level- B.S. college degree (preferred)
EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE :
Level- Minimum of five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
• Good written and oral communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to prioritize duties and assure completion in accurate & timely manner with great sense of urgency.
• Able to perform with little or no direction.
• Command of Microsoft Office, ERP experience
• Able to solve problems creatively.
• Experienced in multi-task environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive Company information.
