Education Coordinator

Daviess County SWCD

Education Coordinator - Provide a resource base for conservation education, develop and present environmental education programs (including related handouts, activities and lesson extensions) for all Daviess County schools, grades K-12, 4H clubs, Civic and other community groups. Develop and maintain a working relationship with Daviess County school teachers and administrators. Plan and implement the annual Fourth Grade Farm Fair. Coordinate and plan workshops and other events. Work with other agencies to reach the goals of the Soil & Water Conservation District. Currently this position also provides assistance to the City of Washington's Storm Water Department through an annual contract with the City of Washington. This position is full-time grant funded until December 31, 2026. At which time it could possibly go to part-time, 28 hours per week, with no benefits. Currently at full-time full benefits, medical, dental and vision are offered. Sick, personal, vacation and paid holidays are offered as well. Hours are 8 am - to 4 pm.
