Assistant Director for Community Partnerships
Elon University is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director for Community Partnerships in the Kernodle Center for Civic Life. The Assistant Director provides leadership for campus-community partnerships and for supporting faculty in incorporating community engagement into academic classes. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing partnerships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools that serve as host locations for community-based learning courses and student volunteer experiences. Working directly with faculty members to assist with including experiential learning opportunities in their academic courses. In this role, the staff member both facilitates individual consultations and coordinates an infrastructure to connect faculty with community partners. Bachelor's degree required. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, project management, budget management, and computer skills. Must enjoy working in a collaborative environment with undergraduate students, community partners, staff and faculty members. A valid driver's license with a driving record insurable by the university is also required. Position will remain open until filled. A
