The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University in Elon, NC invites applications for one tenure-track position in business analytics at the assistant professor level, starting in Fall 2024. This position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics (e.g., data mining, data visualization, machine learning, and database management). Elon University espouses a teacher-scholar-mentor mission.

Candidates are required to have earned a doctorate in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline before the start date from an AACSB-accredited business school or have taught as a full-time faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school for at least 18 months. Candidates are required to have completed coursework or teaching in areas central to management information systems, such as information management, machine learning, database management, and data visualization. Furthermore, the candidate must have successfully conducted academic research in areas related to business analytics, machine learning, or data visualization, as evidenced by peer-reviewed conference presentations or publications.
