CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Responsibilities for this Position:
• As a Power Design Electrical Engineer for Undersea Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.
• High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.
• High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology
Qualifications:
• Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
• Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Circuit Design expertise
• Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
• Feedback / Control systems experience
• Power System architecture and grounding
• Isolated Switching Converters
• Transmission Line Effects in power systems
• EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc)
• Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable
• Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
• The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
• Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
• Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
• Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Ability to travel as needed
Workplace Options:

Target salary range: USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $122,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
