Associate Attorney

Boutique matrimonial law firm located in Woodbury, NY is looking for an associate attorney. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3-5 years of matrimonial or family law experience.

Duties include: legal research; communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts; drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, and stipulations; assisting in trial preparation; negotiation of settlement terms; and court conferences.

Competitive salary and benefits starting from $90,000 (salary commensurate with experience).

What you will need to have:

* Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school

* Licensed to practice law in New York State

* Interest in litigation

* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an effective manner

* Strong work ethic and organizational skills
