Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide secretarial and clerical support to graduate faculty and graduate students in the department of Biology. Specific graduate program duties include scheduling of graduate teaching assignments, preparing reports and correspondence related to graduate recruitment and admissions, as well as providing general assistance to graduate students. Create and maintain departmental marketing and outreach objectives through social media, digital signage, websites and the department newsletter. Handling departmental correspondence, public relations to potential students/parents and organizing department events. Other activities include general office assistance and administrative support as assigned.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) and five years of progressively responsible administrative office experience - OR - bachelor's degree and one year of progressively responsible administrative office experience required.

Desirable License/Registration/Certification
CAP/CPS preferred.
