|Primary Purpose of Position||
The Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Department (CAEE) of the College of Engineering (COE) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University invites applications and nominations for its Research Operations Manager position. The Research Operations Manager is a direct report to the Chair of the CAEE Department.
The position provides operations management and technical-scientific knowledge-driven planning and direction for multiple educational and research laboratories.
In addition, the position requires knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures, teaching and research laboratory operations, regulatory requirements, safety, planning and budgeting, and ABET requirements.

On the Graduate level, the College has 8 Masters of Science Degree programs and 5 Doctoral programs. The 5 research cluster areas of the College of Engineering (COE) are Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity and Resilience, Energy and Sustainability, Healthcare Applications, and Complex Systems and Networks. The Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) Department is one of 7 departments in the College of Engineering. The department offers a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and architectural engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering. CAEE Faculty actively engage in research and supervise, mentor, and graduate doctoral students via one of the 5 doctoral programs of the College.
