Job Summary
The Creative Director will provide project management support within the creative team and for multi-institution partnerships, including the Online Virginia Network (OVN). Responsibilities include: following established workflows to develop schedules and reports, communicating with team members to keep projects on track, and working with the Creative Director to resolve any challenges. Additionally, this person will be an active member of the creative team, assisting in concept formation and providing copywriting support.

- Some knowledge of brand architecture, brand identity, and brand positioning as it informs creative work, as well as Some knowledge of the fundamentals of design.
- Some knowledge of the accepted policies, practices and procedures facilitating and tracking creative projects from concept to completion across multiple media (from web to print).
- Some knowledge of the effective practices to guide staff, manage resources, and maintain productive work processes and controls.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and keep projects on track while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams within-department and across-departments/institutions in support of organizational goals.
- Demonstrated understanding of voice and tone and capable of writing for multiple brand identities.
- Demonstrated ability to write compelling ad copy.
- Demonstrated skill in proofreading documents to include the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to share constructive feedback.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comprehensive experience in creative team environment crafting marketing content and managing multiple projects. Working experience providing project management.
- Some prior experience working in a contemporary ad agency a plus
- Some prior experience leading team building exercises or initiatives
