Job Summary

This is a FTNTT faculty position.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in Anatomy & Physiology at the introductory and intermediate levels and contribute to the General Biology curriculum. Provide limited service to the department and school.

Authority and Accountability

This faculty member reports to the chair of biological sciences, Dr. Elizabeth Emmert.  This faculty member does not have budgetary responsibility or authority over other SU employees.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant area of Biological Sciences or closely related science and must provide evidence of potential for excellence in teaching. Applicants with expertise in all subdisciplines of Anatomy and Physiology will be considered. Applicants must have effective written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
