Sandhills Center is a Local Management Entity-Managed Care Organization (LME-MCO) serving people in eleven counties in central North Carolina. Position provides in reach functions for individuals who have a serious mental illness or a serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI). 
•    The In Reach specialist will provide peer support to identified individuals regarding community based mental health services and supported housing options.  Provide peer counseling and support to targeted DOJ Settlement eligibles
•    The Outreach Diversion Specialist will conduct outreach activities, such as mailings, phone calls, public information sessions or community events. Provide education and referrals.
Must be certified as a North Carolina Peer Support Specialist at time of hire. Must reside in North Carolina.
