Primary Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate/graduate finance courses (Teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Instruction modes may involve Zoom, Hyflex, and online instruction.)
- Advise undergraduate/graduate students
- Active participation in recruitment and retention of students
- Produce scholarly publications consistent with AACSB accreditation and institutional standards
- Assist with curriculum development, assessment monitoring, and accreditation criteria compliance
- Provide department, college, University, and professional service in accordance with departmental guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or ABD (Ph.D. completed by August 1, 2024) in Finance (Degree must be from a regionally or internationally accredited university)
- Teaching interest in Banking
- Demonstrated ability to deliver highly effective teaching for a variety of courses in Finance
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality peer-reviewed research related to Finance
- Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor students
- Evidence of effective communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal)
