Supervisory Experience Required.
Must have 2-5 years experience working with/ job coaching individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
JOB DUTIES:
- Identify need for and assist in development of auxiliary services to facilitate success of the individual.
- Conduct monthly staffing and team meetings with employees.
- Must dress professionally and model professional behavior.
- Ensure that person-centered services are in effect while providing employment services.
- Coordinate employer needs and employee skills to achieve success.
- Ensure that one on one employment services are provided to each individual served including assessments, evaluations, job development, intensive training and long term follow up.
- Informs business, labor and public about supported employment services through various community networking opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate calendar of activities and notify supervisor of any schedule changes.
- Attend various conferences and training to enhance skills and/or job performance.
- Follow up with employer and employee as needed to ensure continued success.
- Conduct initial intakes and annual meetings for individuals in B# State funded Long Term Supports.
- Attend annual meetings for innovations waiver individuals and provide required documentation and assessments.
- Review and approve employee time sheets, time off requests and expense reports.
- Monitor staff in using time wisely and maximizing units assigned to each person served.
- Create individual Data Sheets, admissions, service authorizations and ISP’s in Therap
- Request service authorizations in Cardinal Innovations Provider Direct
- Address any complaints regarding services by people in service, employers or other interested parties.
- Attend quarterly Measurement Management and Improvement Committee.
- Establish yearly program goals and monitor progress.
- Generate monthly billing in Therap and resolve denials
- Supervisory Duties: Directly supervises 5-10 employees, in the MCO Employment Gateway, Carries our supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Other Duties as assigned by Manager.

- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable DMV report.

- Proficiency in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Proficiency in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Understand and comply with all state and federal regulations related to services and programs offered.
- Bachelor Degree in a Related Field Required.
- Must be a Qualified Professional in field of I/DD
- Must be SNAP certified.
