Free Press-Member Services 

 

Are you good with people? Do you prefer variety throughout your workday? In this position, you will
wear many hats and work with a variety of clients and customers, demonstrating your knowledge
and value of all Free Press products and services.


The Free Press has an opening in the Reader Services/Department. Regular hours worked will be 8
AM-2 PM Monday-Friday.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, while maintaining a high level of customer
satisfaction.
• This position doubles as the front desk receptionist, greeting customers as they walk in the door,
and being first in line to assist those customers with any subscription needs.
• Help customers with their subscription accounts. People call us because they have billing
questions, are having product and service trouble, need to upgrade their accounts, or want to buy
products. We’re here to help them.


You’re qualified if you:
• Have experience performing comfortably in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
• Have a pleasant phone voice and demeanor.
• Are proficient with MS Excel & Word & have the ability to navigate thru various software programs
efficiently.
• Above average typing skills
• A good eye for accuracy and detail.
• Are adaptable to changing situations.
• Have a naturally positive attitude.
• Love to help people.
• Are ready to be part of a team and contribute to the success of the Mankato Free Press.
