Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecologyat the UMKC School of Medicineseeks aResearchAssistant with excellent cell/molecular biology, histology/immunohistochemistry/ in situ hybridization, and animal experiment skillstoparticipate in research projects related to placental diseases and pregnancy complications.

The duties will include but are not limited to: performingmolecular, cell biology, histology, and animal experiments; assisting the PI and other researchers in different research projects in the lab;coordinating with clinical research teams;analyzing and interpreting research results; and participating in the preparation of manuscripts;developing and participating in scientific research projects as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

Research experience in the field of reproductive biology and advanced molecular biology techniquesis desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor'sor equivalent degree.
