The Department of Classics http://college.wfu.edu/classics/ at Wake Forest University invites applications for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor for the fall 2024-spring 2025 semesters. We seek a classicist who is prepared and eager to teach undergraduates; the teaching load will be a 3/3 (three courses per semester). We look for a candidate whose interests and strengths complement those of our department. We prefer that the candidate have the Ph.D. in hand, but an ABD candidate in Classics will not be disqualified.
