WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY's Department of Counseling is seeking applications for a one-year, visiting assistant professor position in counseling for the 2023-2024 academic year. We seek highly qualified candidates who have a commitment to excellence in teaching. The department has a graduate program that offers a CACREP accredited M.A. in counseling program that is online and on ground. The department also offers an undergraduate minor in health and human services. The position will involve teaching, advising, and some departmental service.

- Earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP accredited program
- Licensed or license-eligible to practice professional counseling in North Carolina
- Evidence of effectiveness in teaching and clinical supervision
- Experience working with and teaching diverse students.
- Experience in teaching and developing online and on ground courses.
