WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY's Writing Program invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professors to join our community of writers and teachers, whose expertise ranges across disciplines and backgrounds. Applicants should be committed to providing high-quality teaching in first-year writing. Ph.D. in writing studies or related field is preferred, but we welcome applications from professional and scholarly writers across disciplines with experience developing and teaching first-year writing. Teaching load is a 3/3 of first-year writing seminars (capped at 16); instructors have considerable autonomy over course design. Salary is competitive.
